South Hadley PD

Seems like SHPD is using P25 encryption on their main 852.8625 at the moment. Not sure if this is temporary/selectable or not. Nac 041

Please keep an ear out on it, so we can update the DB.

I have no idea lol last night I was going through the 800 mhz band and right on SHPD's freq, I heard a p25 simulcast modulation signal then went to dsdplus to decode and was disappointed to see that it was encrypted. On their Facebook looks like they have new kenwood portables with the nice mics

Well please keep an ear out, to see if the P25 is the only operation now or if it is dual mode.

There's a second line for the former analog. I clarified the line some. But the digital is there.

So ???

Found something interesting tracking the radio i.d's. The only radio i.d's I have been seeing for the past few nights is just 1 and 26 which seems odd but idk how many officers are normally on patrol per shift but 2 radios i.d's only. Seems weird those are the only i.d's throughout all of the transmissions.
