"Derry" fire using terminology "Derry" on fire freq

#1 Post by JohnBolduc » 08 Jan 2020 12:17

Since the beginning of the week Derry NH fire on 153.995 P25 NAC 827 has been using the "Derry" in their transmissions. Such as "Derry Engine 3 responding" instead of just "Engine 3 responding"

It appears Windham fire, either temporary (I suspect) or longer (I doubt) is now using the Derry frequency. Sure enough, a Windham aimed call or two came up on the Derry frequency.

154.175 PL 146.2, the current / pass Windham Fire frequency is silent, for now.

I heard that as well. Since Windham is now digital, I wonder when Chester and Auburn will go digital as well

Are Chester and Auburn still on 154.130?
And is Windham 154.175 still simplex or a repeater now?

Chester and Auburn are still 154.130 and simplex. Windham is now 154.175 NAC907 repeater.

My understanding is there is near zero chance Chester or Auburn will put up any money to go digital.

Windham input frequency has been logged in the 158-161 range. Happy hunting. We will not publish the exact frequency.

The 452 link has gone away with the transition to P25 and the now repeaterized setup on 154.175.
