Hey all - so excuse my ignorance on this topic but for the entire time I've used scanners spanning 20+ years, I've mostly lived in the non-trunking VHF/UHF bands and haven't researched or otherwise had experience with 700/800/900 or any trunking.
That being said, I was looking at this page - https://www.snewiki.com/wiki/index.php/ ... annel_Plan
Which lists some NH frequencies, most of them appear to be listed as conventional but with a base freq and a mobile freq so I'm assuming it's duplex operation? I'd have to program both in to hear both sides of the conversation correct?
Also when I did a search for more info on this all I could find was a post mentioning this RF plan and that back in late 2017 someone mentioned thinking it had been cancelled.
Anyone have more info on this? If not maybe I'll just scan em and see what I hear.

Re: 700MHz NH Frequencies?
For NH, I would (unless down in Southern NH) not worry about 700/800, especially in your terrain.
But yes, MOST of NH would be allocated Conventional channels, most of those in the Wiki are based on licenses, not actual reported/confirmed usage.
Manchester and Nashua are your only two trunked and they are 800, but may likely have the 700 conventionals (NIFOG)
https://www.cisa.gov/sites/default/file ... 3_2021.pdf programmed for any potential interop
As to Base/Mobile those, if two different frequencies are likely Repeater pairs, so only rely on the BASE (Repeater output)

Re: 700MHz NH Frequencies?
That makes sense to me, thanks for the info.
Some of the sites listed are within listening range easily, I might toss them in just to monitor from time to time and see if anyone shows up

Re: 700MHz NH Frequencies?
I am thinking some of those will be "paper" licenses as they came from/thru the Regional Coordination Group, and (some folks maybe know more)
I think states had to pick sites, just to lock them up or potentially lose access for the future (we've seen that in the 800/900 business band years ago)
