DTMF tones. 3-4 digits, followed by a single long DTMF tone. (like a pound symbol)
Over and over about 20 times, then ended.

OTA Reprogramming of the CTCSS/DCS Control pannel ?
Generally tho those are muted - varies by make/mode of the Control Panel

It sounded like some sort of alert. The same four - five digits followed by the long tone.
