Cool Kids I was waiting to see if we were going to have a P25 trunk at this like NEAR-Fest but I don't think we are. So now that Westborough is back that should blanket the area so lets all make sure we are ready for Westborough P25 on the grounds. 448.775 NAC 353. If you have an extra P25 radio bring it for a friend!

I'm in for Saturday, and probably Friday!

Anyone looking to split a table? I've got a bunch of stuff I should get rid of, but don't want to be chained down the whole time.

Weather is starting to look a little bit better for Saturday. I'll be there all three days either way. I already have a table spot but your neighbors will always help you watch your table. You can probably set up near us or folks you know.

The GEMOTO 900 Repeater will be on site all three days.
W1NAU may bring his portable P25 UHF Trunk on Saturday.
Westborough P25 should work great on the grounds 448.775 NAC 353
GEMOTO UHF Simplex 446.200 131.8

Remember there is bar in the restaurant and several restaurants in walking distance.

I will most likely be bringing a mobile P25 trunk on Friday and Saturday as long as I can figure out power. I'll update with programming information later tonight, and I'll have a laptop on-site with common cables and software to program radios.

Alright it's going to rain tomorrow but we can all watch the Patriots game at the bar and talk on P25 all day! Still not a bad day. Be there or be square!

Looks like I'm only going to make it tomorrow, and I'm going to try to make a few talks and help at one of the VE sessions, so I won't bother with a table. I do still have some UHF XTS2500 and XTS5000 portables I need to offload if you find anyone else wanting to get in on the P25 fun. O:-)

Ilya, will I need a key to program this in ASTRO25 CPS? I do still have NAU's setup from NEAR-Fest in my radio that a friend with the proper codeplug set up there.

Hi Matt, you should be able to use the existing key you used before! It’s very similar to W1NAU’s setup, just different frequencies so we don’t interfere with any area repeaters.

Good seeing those who I saw today. Bill, I saw you but didn't get a chance to say hi. Weather was much better than what was forecast.

Yes the WX Sat was good, only some spit from the sky.

Sadly, not much in the flea area,

Jeff - missed you, but ran across others from my FT job who we had not seen or chatted in sometime.

I'm pleased to report we had a total of 25 subscribers affiliated to the HamTrunk over the course of the weekend, including a handful of hams from as far as Florida and Oregon – clearly we've got some nice diversity here on ScanNE! I hope everyone had a fun time and will re-affiliate next time – I bet either W1NAU or I will have it set up at NEARfest this October. Huge shoutout to Alex N4EVA for coming up from PA to help set the trunk up, as well as bringing rx filter cavities and tuning equipment to improve performance.

The time flew by and I didn’t get to see too many of you! There were probably at least a dozen new Technicians licensed at Saturday afternoon’s session, though!

I bought very little. Did find a 900 MHz whip for my HT, which will probably work better than the 800 MHz one currently on my 900 MHz HT. O:-)

Thank you for setting up the trunk! Sorry we didn't get to meet, I wasn't sure where you were set up. I had the VP8000 running on it. Before NEARFest I want to see if it's possible to get a system key for Tait so I can give the TP9800 a try. I think Nick has the ability to do the Harris XL200, but didn't look into trying to get that working this time.

Yes for NEARfest we shall make an attempt to get every model radio working for the E55 system. I do have Harris working fine, Tait will be the next hurdle.
