Possible Space Force system in NH

Post by Dave2582 »

System noise on 163.4875 n150. I'm in Hudson, NH and the signal is very strong. Bill suggested that it could be the New Boston space force station. I captured 163.5875 with same nac with encryption. I caught talkgroup 61501 with unit ID of 0. New build out? Anyone in the area that can capture more data and can confirm what Bill suggested? Thanks.

I've been hearing it STRONG in southern NH (Pack Monadnock):

Network: BEE00.157 ; US Air Force
Site: 1.68 NAC=150

Channel 3-2199: 163.4875 CC
Channel 3-2203: 163.5375 SCC

Likely NBAFS...

Related to the new system above, Hanscom seems to have changed as well.

It is now broadcasting as site 1.67 (previously 1.19)

The strange thing is - they are both BEE00.157, but they are broadcasting TWO different bandplans. I assume this will get corrected when the techs realize the error (but it wreaks havoc on DSD plus on occasion)

Final Update...

After watching this system for a week, I can pretty much conclude it is NBAFS.

I has a SINGLE TG - mentioned above - likely security. It has a half-dozen or so so unique radio IDs.

The system is 100% encrypted, 24 hrs a day (similar to NBAFS security prior to this radio change.)

Thanks,

Bill
