GMRS channel 462.575 in Westfield, MA area

Does anybody here now the location and callsign of a GMRS repeater I am hearing in the Westfield, MA area. The frequency is 462.575 and has a PL of 151.4. Earlier it sounded like a man and women talking about how nice the sunset was.

There is a 575 repeater in Pelham that gets out well. I hear it in the Sturbridge area.

I don't know the callsign of the owner (I believe his name is Ralph) but the repeater is located on Mount Tom in Holyoke. I can reach it 14 miles away in West Springfield on my 5 watt Motorola.

That's the WMA 575 repeater up on Mt. Tom. Alex (WQKJ537) is the repeater owner. They're very welcoming of anyone with a valid GMRS license, it's just asked that you hop on and request a 3-digit number assignment if you plan to be a regular user.

Your best bet is to hop on with your call and see if someone is available to issue an ID. Even if one of the organizers is not on the air someone can usually pass the message to them.

Hi everyone! My name is Mike I am new to GMRS. I have been listening on this repeater and trying to find a way to join also. I think there is a Facebook page but I don’t have any social media and don’t really want to make one just for that.
