996P2 - Lock out SITE

Post by W1KNE »

Hello

I don't have a ton of experience with my 996P2. When trunking, is there an easy way to lock out a site like there is to the x36 and SDS?

You can set a quick key for the site and turn it on and off using the keypad.

What happens if you press the function knob then lockout? I don't have my scanner in front of me to test, but I believe that may do what you want.

Yep, I am aware. Was looking for the short cut that Sven mentioned below...
