Burlington PD “Tac 5”

Heard testing on what was referred to as “Tac 5” today, 460.2875, D125. First they simply said “tac 5” then “tac 5 repeater” but no noticeable repeater tail. Heard around Shelburne Road at the SB city line, not sure where they were.

I believe this was the first time I’ve logged that.

per the FCC, yup a Repeater

Could have been dispatch via a console direct to the repeater, which basically acts are a base station , where-as mobile units would have the Repeater Tail

Nice Confirmation on the channel name - wiki updated, surprised it is not P25 like the main channels
