Salem PD on Event 2

I’m hearing what sounds like a patch between Salem PD’s channel and Event 2 this weekend. Usually they use BAPERN on Halloween, but this is definitely their regular operations and Halloween stuff with nothing on the BAPERN channels.

I heard from a friend they’re getting a new digital radio system, I wonder if they’re core connected now for the patch? Or moving to a trucked system?

Sounds like this is happening again today. Hearing Salem PD on Event 2. The same traffic as their regular channel again.

They're back at it tonight on Event 2 and 8tac83. Nothing on BAPERN (shockingly) or the U Tacs.

So today I'm hearing regular police stuff on Salem PD today. Nothing seems to be patched here today.

Area Wide 4 and 8TAC93 seem patched. I haven't listened to the Trunk to see if there's a patch there. Nothing on any of the other TACs that I've heard.
